Xeno's organic jojoba oil "Unsophisticated" is extracted from the seeds of the jojoba fruit. It's a naturally cold-pressed seed oil that many people tolerate well, as seed oils are generally more tolerable than fruit oils. And jojoba oil isn't actually a true oil, but rather a wax that closely resembles your skin's natural oils.
If you're planning to start your skincare routine with a facial oil, there are a few things to keep in mind to ensure a smooth start. Pure oils alone are not a substitute for cream. Applied to dry skin, they act like a cleanser and wash away your skin's natural oils. This would dry out your skin in the long run, which is why it's important to follow the instructions for use.

Apply a soothing moisturizer (e.g., a toner) to your skin and lock in the moisture with organic jojoba oil. This combination of two products will closely mimic the effects of a cream, especially if a cream isn't currently working for you.
