What is period underwear?

Period underwear is a type of underwear specifically designed for use during menstruation. It's designed to absorb blood while providing comfort and protection. Unlike tampons or pads, period underwear doesn't need to be changed regularly, making it a convenient and practical choice for women.

How does period underwear work?

Period underwear consists of several layers that work together to absorb and contain blood. The outer layer is made of a water-resistant material that prevents leaks. The middle layer is thick and absorbent, trapping the blood. The inner layer is made of a soft, moisture-wicking material that ensures you feel fresh and dry all day long.

Why should you use period underwear?

Period underwear offers a number of advantages over traditional tampons or pads. Here are some reasons why you should consider switching:

• Sustainability: Period underwear can be used for several years, making it a more environmentally friendly choice than tampons or pads.

• Convenience: You don't need to change your period underwear as often as tampons or pads. This makes it a convenient choice for women who are busy all day.

• Protection: Period underwear offers excellent protection against leaks. You don't have to worry about stains on your clothes or bedding.

• Cost: While the initial cost of period underwear may be higher than that of tampons or pads, you will save money in the long run because you can use them for several years.
