VEJA introduces Arpoador – a sandal inspired by the relaxed rhythm of Brazilian beaches. The name honors one of Rio's most iconic viewpoints.
Suede is the back of leather that is sanded down to give it a soft and supple appearance. It comes from farms in Rio Grande do Sul and is tanned in Brazil without using hazardous or prohibited chemicals. VEJA uses conventional dyes and pays attention to reasonable water consumption during the tanning process. The suede is also coated with water-repellent oils without PFCs (chemical compounds) to protect the shoes from light rain.
