The ZEE1 is the first object from ZEEBRAHAM™ – a shoe born from reduction, repetition, and curiosity. Designed and manufactured in our own workshop, it follows a simple principle: remove everything until only the essentials remain.
Made from vegetable-tanned leather and natural rubber, the ZEE1 gently hugs the foot from the very first step. The upper adapts flexibly like a glove, while the sole provides a barefoot-like feel with balanced cushioning. No break-in period, no stiffness – just natural movement, quiet and durable.
Each pair is cut, sewn, and assembled by us under one roof. Every line, seam, and curve has its purpose; nothing is decorative, nothing is hidden. Over time, the materials soften, darken, and bear the marks of their wearer—proof of use, not age.

ZEEBRAHAM was founded in Nuremberg in 2013 by Wendelin Hartmann. The label produces handmade sneakers in Europe, using vegetable-tanned leather, natural rubber, and recycled materials. A key feature is its consistent commitment to sustainability: regional sourcing, durable products, and resource-efficient manufacturing without unnecessary elements.
