The modern bootie with warm lining – model Polarfox – is made from the proven Werner organic leather. The upper leather and lining (all leather components) are made from pollutant-free, chrome-free, and vegetable-tanned organic leather in Germany.
Organic leather? That means our Alpine organic cattle are allowed to roam freely. They live on small, family-run farms. These organic farmers are part of a new and responsible generation. Conscious ecological practices, cultural and landscape conservation are central to their work. They live in harmony with nature.
The modern contrast sole gives this warm winter shoe a very special touch.
The shoes are manufactured in Europe, and all the necessary raw materials come from Germany and neighboring countries. This avoids unnecessary transport and the associated CO2 emissions.
The leather for the shoes was vegetable-tanned and chrome-free in Germany.
