To achieve such a minimalist design, the three curved wooden legs are glued together by hand and then carefully sanded. The aesthetic of the taut form is timeless and contributes to modern table culture! A sensual accessory that you'll enjoy holding.
The coaster is made of birch plywood, also known as laminated wood. Laminated wood is very thin and therefore resource-efficient. At the same time, it is also very durable. Another special feature of laminated wood is that it can be glued together in a way that creates a truly "tension-free" effect. This resulted in this elegant and functional design.
The design for this gorgeous coaster comes from Clemens Haufe. After graduating in 2007, he and Sven Deutloff founded the interior and product design studio WESTOSTERON in Dresden.
