Toff & Zürpel's handmade, cold-processed exfoliating soap with birch polypore is free of colorants, fragrances, and preservatives, and made from natural, organically grown ingredients. With a balanced blend of various oils and a 16% superfatting – after a six-week curing period – this birch polypore exfoliating soap is particularly gentle on the skin, nourishing, and moisturizing. The organic beeswax acts as a protective barrier for the skin and provides hydration. It also aids in wound healing and skin regeneration. As the name suggests, birch polypore is a tree fungus that grows on birch trees and is known for its beneficial effects on health. Only wild-grown birch polypore from Germany is used for these soaps – fully mature fruiting bodies with a high nutrient density, which are gently dried and ground. This tree fungus has been used to make tea for over 5,000 years.
