The replaceable Tiomatik brush heads for Oral B's rotating electric toothbrushes are made from bioplastic, which consists mainly of wood fiber residues and castor oil.
The brush handle is made of bioplastic based on wood fiber residue. The bristles are made from plant-based castor oil, which is extracted from the seeds of the fast-growing castor bean plant. Castor oil is a completely renewable resource that requires little water, minimal land, and is therefore perfectly suited for a future of sustainable agriculture.
