Who is behind the product?
StrikningLu was founded by Luisa, a content creator and business student from Nuremberg. Her passion for knitting, design, and Danish knitting culture gave rise to a small, personal label featuring lovingly designed prints, stationery, and knitting accessories. What sets it apart is the focus on handmade illustrations, creative in-house production, and intentionally small product quantities, which prioritize quality and individuality over mass-produced goods.

We provide information and are transparent
Our mission is to dispel the outdated image of imperfect B- and C-grade goods and inspire and motivate greater appreciation for these unique products. As an online shop, we don't just want to sell products; we consciously and transparently explain the flaws of each product under the heading "Why is this product included in 'With Imperfections'?"
We are not perfect
We want to show what better consumption can look like. We are leading by positive example, drawing attention to companies that follow our lead, and want to inspire other brands to take a different path.
We want to do better
Conserving resources is an essential part of our everyday work as an online shop and of the entire concept behind Mit Ecken und Kanten. We reuse cardboard boxes as often as possible because they still serve their purpose perfectly and do not need to be thrown away after just one use.
