Organic, cold-pressed hemp seed oil is pure care for healthy, soft and supple skin.
The source plant for our hemp seed oil is an EU-approved industrial hemp variety. The hemp seed oil is produced exclusively from the seeds of the cannabis plant, which contain no cannabinoids. The THC content is analytically tested and is below the guideline value set by the German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR).
This high-quality hemp seed oil is obtained through the gentle harvesting and pressing of hemp seeds. The seeds are enclosed in a firm seed coat that protects the nutrients from environmental factors such as oxygen and sunlight. To extract the oil, the seeds are pressed until the oil is released. Cold pressing ensures that the quality of the valuable nutrients is preserved.
Hemp seed oil is a secret weapon for beautiful, radiant skin. It's used to care for irritated skin, such as that caused by neurodermatitis or psoriasis, and it also helps soothe scars. The key to this intensive care lies in the optimal 3:1 ratio of linoleic acid to alpha-linolenic acid. Furthermore, the greenish oil contains chlorophyll, which is responsible for its color. The essential gamma-linolenic acid and the omega-3 fatty acid stearidonic acid are also vital for metabolism and work together to be highly effective in supporting various skin processes.
