Plakton specializes in the production of shoes with cork insoles. Since 1995, cork has been the material Plakton uses in the production of almost every product. The brand always strives to create products that are comfortable, ergonomic, and natural. That is the essence. Harvesting cork oak is an ancient process that can (and should) only be carried out by experts: the "descortiçadores." It requires considerable skill and experience to avoid damaging the tree.
