Every pair of Plakton shoes is handcrafted in Spain. The brand places great emphasis on selecting sustainable materials, resulting in durable, high-quality shoes that are also exceptionally comfortable.
These slippers feature a cork footbed made from genuine cork from the cork oak tree. The memory foam in the sole provides exceptional comfort. It is made of latex, a natural product. The upper is crafted from mulesing-free wool blended with recycled polyamide. This ensures shape retention and guarantees long-lasting enjoyment of the slippers. The strap and buckle allow for a comfortable, adjustable fit. The outsole is made of EVA, a rubber-like plastic. Compared to other materials, EVA is not only exceptionally flexible and lightweight but also highly durable. Furthermore, it offers excellent shock absorption and minimal heat conductivity, keeping feet comfortably warm.

Plakton specializes in the production of shoes with cork insoles. Since 1995, cork has been the material Plakton uses in the production of almost every product. The brand always strives to create products that are comfortable, ergonomic, and natural. That is the essence. Harvesting cork oak is an ancient process that can (and should) only be carried out by experts: the "descortiçadores." It requires considerable skill and experience to avoid damaging the tree.
