You and your new designer yoga mat are meant to spend a lot of time together, so treat it well to keep it looking beautiful for a long time. To protect the natural materials like the natural rubber and resin-based coating from drying out, it's best to use the mat bag and roll it up in it after use. Don't place it near a radiator or expose it to direct sunlight for extended periods. To remove dust and hair, you can rub it with a rough gardening glove; vacuuming is also a good option. To prevent it from getting dusty in the first place, it's best to roll it up like this: Fold it in half so that the microfiber surfaces are facing each other, and then roll it up. You can also occasionally wash your designer yoga mat in the washing machine on a cold, delicate cycle. Use a very mild detergent. Air dry it. Please do not use a dryer and do not hang it in direct sunlight, otherwise the rubber will lose its grip.

The Hamburg-based label OM YA was founded by the married couple Kristina and Malte. With their yoga products, they aim to bring more relaxation and mindfulness into our everyday lives.
