Description
Balu is a timeless classic with modern details. The relaxed raglan cut features ribbed cuffs at the collar, hem, and sleeve ends. A special detail is the triangular decorative seam at the sleeve end. The soft sweatshirt fabric is made from 100% finest Fairtrade organic cotton and is exceptionally comfortable and breathable. Because the fabric is pre-washed, the fit is preserved, making this sweatshirt a particularly durable product.

Why is this product included in the "With Edges and Corners" category?
This product is a trade fair sample from the current collection. Therefore, the fabrics are not GOTS and Fairtrade Cotton certified, as is usually the case with Melawear. However, like all other Melawear textiles, they were produced by the Indian textile manufacturer Purecotz. Purecotz is the world's first textile producer to be certified according to the new Fairtrade Textile Standard and has committed to paying living wages to its garment workers.
Checklist for clothing “With rough edges”
We are an imperfection shop and want to give clothes that aren't perfect a second chance and save them from the trash. That's the only reason we can offer them to you at a discount. Therefore, we ask you to consider the following points:
  • Clothing has stains: Please check if the stains are still visible after a wash. If not, or if the residue still bothers you too much, please feel free to contact our support team.
  • Your clothing has a hole: Please consider whether the hole is really too bothersome when wearing it. It's best to take a photo of it right away. If it gets bigger, you can contact our support team and send us before/after photos.
  • The seams are uneven or sticking out: Please consider whether the imperfect seam truly restricts the functionality. Should it come undone, you can of course contact our support team.
