This saves you a yoga towel. The more you sweat, the better the grip of this yoga mat becomes. Cork contains suberin, a waxy, grippy substance whose effect only truly unfolds when the mat becomes damp. Additionally, the natural cork surface absorbs excess moisture when you sweat. So you don't have to worry about slipping on your wet yoga mat and you no longer need an extra towel for hot yoga practice.
