The outer fabric, made from organic cotton and recycled nylon with a laminated polyurethane membrane, protects against wind and rain. The warm padding is made from 100% recycled polyester and, combined with the soft Tencel jersey lining, ensures optimal comfort.

LangerChen stands for high-quality jackets made from organic cotton, produced under fair conditions. The classic, urban designs are versatile and a must-have in every eco-conscious wardrobe. Fair production conditions at LangerChen: LangerChen is a German-Chinese project by designers Philipp Langer and Miranda Chen. Since 2009, the two have been setting an example for exemplary production conditions in China. All jackets and coats are sewn under fair conditions at their partner factory, JIECCO, near Shanghai. The factory is certified by the recognized GOTS textile standard. This standard monitors social and environmental conditions along the entire textile chain: from the organic cotton field to fabric production and garment sewing. In addition, the factory is regularly audited by the Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI), which adheres to the highest international standards.
