The polyamide used in this ripstop parka is made from the renewable raw material castor oil. The membrane is also partially made from castor polymer.
Both products are free of climate-damaging petrochemicals! The parka is filled with fibers made from recycled polyester and lined with our 'parachute silk' made from recycled polyester.
A sophisticated, well-fitting cut ensures the elegant look of this puffer coat, which remains slim despite its dense filling. The knitted cuffs keep hands warm. A high stand-up collar and zippered placket protect against cold winds.

LangerChen stands for high-quality jackets made from organic cotton, produced under fair conditions. The classic, urban designs are versatile and a must-have in every eco-conscious wardrobe. Fair production conditions at LangerChen: LangerChen is a German-Chinese project by designers Philipp Langer and Miranda Chen. Since 2009, the two have been setting an example for exemplary production conditions in China. All jackets and coats are sewn under fair conditions at their partner factory, JIECCO, near Shanghai. The factory is certified by the recognized GOTS textile standard. This standard monitors social and environmental conditions along the entire textile chain: from the organic cotton field to fabric production and garment sewing. In addition, the factory is regularly audited by the Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI), which adheres to the highest international standards.
