The "Mysore" yoga mats are made from organic cotton and natural plant dyes derived from herbs such as indigo, cumin, and turmeric. These herbal dyes are specially produced in small batches to ensure optimal color and herbal quality.
These rugs are handwoven by rural artisans in India to preserve an ancient tradition and art form, providing the weavers with a livelihood. Weaving is a traditional way of life for many people in this region, but it has suffered a dramatic decline in recent years due to increasing industrialization. Jade's organic cotton rugs support these traditional weavers, enabling them to use their skills to support their families and keep this tradition alive.
These rugs are lightweight at only 1.135 kg, making them easy to take to all your favorite spots in the park or on the beach. They are also machine washable, making them easy to clean and maintain.
