Description

The Konjac sponge from Hydrophil – made from the konjac root – is ideal for gently cleansing, exfoliating, and massaging your skin. It moisturizes and, thanks to its alkaline properties, is particularly beneficial for acne-prone skin. Furthermore, its natural composition and exceptionally soft, gentle surface make it perfect for washing toddlers and infants.
To make a konjac sponge, the root of the konjac plant is ground into flour. This white flour is then mixed with water and baked in an oven to form a sponge. Incidentally, in Japan, the konjac sponge has been used daily for facial washing for over 1500 years, while in Korea it is traditionally reserved for baby care.
Note: The sponge is supplied without packaging!

Application note:

To use, simply moisten the konjac sponge with warm water until it becomes soft and massage the body and/or face in circular motions.

Facts:

  • VEGAN: Hydrophil aims to positively impact our world through its actions. Therefore, their products contain no animal products. And of course, they do not conduct or commission any animal testing.
  • FAIR: Fair work deserves fair pay – that's why all their products are produced fairly. To ensure exactly that, they personally oversee their entire value chain down to the smallest detail.

Why is this product included in the "With Edges and Corners" category?

The konjac sponge comes from overproduction and is not inherently flawed.
