This sustainable bamboo toothbrush from Hydrophil not only looks great, but it's also a good choice for reducing your plastic consumption. The medium-soft bristles are gentle on your gums, and the extra-soft bristles are ideal for very sensitive gums. Since toothbrushes wear out with regular use, it's recommended to replace them every three months.
The handle is made from exceptionally fast-growing Moso bamboo and is biodegradable. During its two-year growth phase, Moso bamboo reaches a height of up to 20 meters. Artificial irrigation is not used in bamboo cultivation, nor are pesticides or other chemicals. The bio-based bristles are derived from castor oil. The oil extracted from the plant is processed into bio-nylon and is free of BPA and petroleum. The solvent-free colored lacquers from the natural paint manufacturer AURO, used to color the handles, are also consistently ecological.
