The loofah sponge is the perfect addition to your sustainable everyday life. It consists of the dried inner part of the loofah plant, which belongs to the gourd family and is therefore a renewable natural product.
You can use the sponge as a soap dish or as an exfoliating sponge for your body. The fibers become softer when they are saturated with water.
The fibrous structure of the loofah sponge is also suitable for cleaning dirt in your bathroom or kitchen. You can use it for washing dishes in combination with an organic dish soap or for general cleaning of the bathroom and kitchen.
The loofah sponge is an excellent alternative to a conventional dish sponge, which is usually made of plastic, foam and steel wool and colored with chemical dyes.

You can soak your sponge in a vinegar-water mixture (ratio: 1:2) for 5-10 minutes to disinfect it. Alternatively, you can wash it in the washing machine at 30 degrees. Please do not use fabric softener. Let your sponge dry after use and cleaning.
