Save on plastic and make a difference with beeswax wraps. Want to cover bowls sustainably? Wrap food without plastic? Gaia wrap is a reusable food wrap (also known as a beeswax wrap) that eliminates unnecessary plastic waste from your kitchen. This alternative to cling film or beeswax wraps consists of organic cotton printed with vegan dyes, organic beeswax, organic jojoba oil (in very small quantities), and tree resin (in very small quantities) – nothing more. And of course, Gaia's packaging is sustainable too. It's made from grass paper, which, thanks to its high grass fiber content, is easily recyclable and biodegradable. They produce in Hamburg to the highest standards in their certified organic factory. The beeswax wraps are regularly tested for food safety by the Eurofins laboratory.

Wipe or rinse the beeswax wrap with cold water. Dry it or let it air dry. Do not expose your beeswax wrap to excessive heat and do not cover hot food with it. Otherwise, the beeswax will melt. To refresh: If the Gaia Wrap has tears, place it on wax-proof paper in the oven at approximately 80°C for a few minutes. Then let it cool. Do not wrap raw meat or fish.
