Description

Hiro is an urban and affordable high-top sneaker for style-conscious individuals. Made entirely from organic cotton and natural rubber, it represents Ethletics' interpretation of a sustainable status symbol. With a wide range of colors and prints, Hiro accompanies its wearers on their journey towards a more conscious future. The sneaker features latex foam cushioning for added heel support, an extra-stitched sole, three ventilation holes, and a removable coconut fiber insole with absorbent and antibacterial properties. Hiro is anything but ordinary – a vibrant companion from sunrise to sunset.

The Hiro Fair Sneaker is made from organic cotton canvas twill grown by small-scale farmers. All cotton comes from Fairtrade-certified producers and was grown and traded according to Fairtrade standards. Fairtrade promotes better working and living conditions as well as environmental protection. The sole is made from FSC®-certified natural rubber from sustainably managed plantations in Sri Lanka.

All Ethletic sneaker models are produced fairly and exclusively from sustainable resources in Pakistan. The supply chains are fully Fairtrade or FSC® certified and are regularly audited. Ethletic supports its own Fairtrade projects in the communities surrounding the production facilities. In addition, the company pays a premium of one US dollar per pair of sneakers sold to the Talon Fairtrade Workers Welfare Society, which supports local workers with a focus on healthcare, retirement provisions, and education.
