Description

The Brock is a partially padded canvas boot with a subtle yet confident working-class feel. Inspired by a rugged work companion, it impresses with its lightness and comfort. This ankle-high boot features a removable insole and an additional layer of coconut fiber in the footbed, providing a natural antibacterial effect. As a stylish detail, the sole is stitched in a contrasting color. The Brock is available in three classic colors and three color-blocked check patterns – perfectly suited to the distinctive attitude of this Ethletic classic.

The Brock is made from Fairtrade-certified organic canvas twill cotton sourced from small-scale farmers. The sole is made from FSC-certified natural rubber from sustainably managed plantations in Sri Lanka. Production takes place fairly in Pakistan. Ethletic uses only materials from certified Fairtrade or FSC supply chains. The responsible Fairtrade organization ensures that premiums reach the producers and manufacturers involved throughout the entire production chain.

Furthermore, Ethletic is actively involved in its own Fairtrade projects in the communities surrounding its production facilities. The products are made exclusively from sustainable resources. While the Fairtrade system ensures fair conditions in the present, sustainability secures the future of the agricultural regions. Ethletic also pays an additional premium of one US dollar per pair of sneakers sold to the local workers' welfare society. These funds are managed independently and primarily go towards healthcare, retirement provisions, and education. Approximately 2% of the sales price goes to FLO-CERT, the responsible inspection and certification body for Fairtrade, which also awards the Fairtrade seal.
