Who is behind the product?
Espadrij l’originale: the original summer feeling to go. They stand for high-quality espadrilles and premium summer accessories made in Europe. Together with their home accessories and loungewear products from the Espadrij maison® collection, they create a world that combines traditional craftsmanship with modern aesthetics. In doing so, they always follow that South of France laissez-faire feeling for a harmonious blend of comfort, style, and craft. They gather their inspiration on their travels: whether near or far, they are always searching for new ideas that are in harmony with their origins. Their shoes are manufactured in the traditional way in French and Spanish espadrille workshops, where numerous production steps are still performed by hand. The experienced staff know every technique, perfected over generations, which ultimately guarantees their unmistakable Espadrij l’originale® look. Their accessories and loungewear reflect the same level of high standards, which is why they have them produced in Morocco, Portugal, and Turkey. They source their fabrics as locally as possible.

Our mission is to dispel the outdated image of imperfect B- and C-grade goods and inspire and motivate greater appreciation for these unique products. We are not perfect
We want to show what better consumption can look like. We are leading by positive example, drawing attention to companies that follow our lead, and want to inspire other brands to take a different path.
