The "HIDALGO" leather sandal combines the elegant design of an Oxford shoe with the traditional style of a Mexican huarache. Fairly and lovingly handcrafted by artisans in Mexico. Made from vegetable-tanned, breathable leather and featuring a softly padded insole – for exceptional comfort and high quality. The Hidalgo huarache sandal quickly adapts to the individual shape of the foot.

CANO was founded in 2016 by childhood friends Philipp Mayer and Lukas Pünder from Düsseldorf, inspired by their time in Mexico and the local shoemaking tradition. The brand stands for sustainably and fairly produced huaraches, handcrafted in Mexican family workshops – with complete transparency thanks to their innovative retraced tool.
