Description
Description
Memphis the aardvark and Emil the armadillo are best friends. They do all sorts of wonderful things together: bike rides, cooking, climbing… but there's one thing Memphis absolutely hates: water – and everything to do with it! Rainy days, ear cleaning, and baths are his worst nightmare. But an incident on a hot summer day changes everything and tells the story of how two friends stick together and even learn to swim in the end. And they have a blast doing it!

Even today, the dedicated team continues the founders' tradition of publishing picture books by international illustrators and authors, paying close attention to artistic aspects and exceptional design.

We provide information and are transparent
Our mission is to dispel the outdated image of imperfect B- and C-grade goods and inspire and motivate greater appreciation for these unique products. As an online shop, we don't just want to sell products; we consciously and transparently explain the flaws of each product under the heading "Why is this product included in 'With Imperfections'?"
We are not perfect
We want to show what better consumption can look like. We are leading by positive example, drawing attention to companies that follow our lead, and want to inspire other brands to take a different path.
We want to do better
Conserving resources is an essential part of our everyday work as an online shop and of the entire concept behind Mit Ecken und Kanten. We reuse cardboard boxes as often as possible because they still serve their purpose perfectly and do not need to be thrown away after just one use.
