The distance between the balls is intentionally chosen to avoid the spinous processes when self-massage the spine. This allows you to simultaneously massage the muscle groups that run alongside the thoracic and lumbar spine. The double ball is also suitable for self-treatment of the flanks, thighs, arms, and calves. Fascia are connective tissue strands that support your muscles. If they become stuck together, they can cause pain similar to tendonitis. While the BLACKROLL® DUOBALL cannot replace an experienced therapist, it is a valuable tool, especially for self-massage.
